Prompted was founded by Dr. Jay Hopkins and Dave Perrin. Jay’s prototype of Prompted was a bedside “ambient scribe” that cut charting time by two hours per shift. The proof of concept worked, but it needed enterprise muscle. Enter Dave, who rebuilt the idea on a modern, role-based architecture and added a library of plug-and-play AI workflows. The result is a secure, no-code platform that lets any team design, govern, and deploy practical AI in minutes, not months.

A board certified physician and leader of a large multispecialty practice, Dr. Hopkins brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and operational insight to the company. Frustrated by the time and talent lost to inefficient documentation systems, he envisioned a platform that empowers healthcare professionals to spend more time with patients and less time on paperwork.
